This two day course has been designed for industry professionals with a prior working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code through previous experience or training, and who are looking to enhance their skills by participating in an in-depth review of the Code. With a focus on navigating commonly used sections, rules and regulations, this course provides a comprehensive review of key changes to the 2015 edition, and how they can impact existing installations, or the use of newer efficiency-enhancing technologies.
Developed with input from a broad cross-section of electrical industry experts and with cooperation from all provinces, territories and several key jurisdictions across Canada, the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I is an integral part of the Canadian Electrical Safety System. Jurisdictions across Canada adopt the code as a model code for regulation, as is or with provincial or territorial interpretations.
Your instructor is an electrical industry professional with years of practical hands-on experience, and in-depth knowledge of safe electrical installation practices and the Canadian Electrical Code.
Interactive exercises will provide in-depth understanding of important rules and key Code changes and how they may affect the safety and efficiency of electrical installations. CE Code Training dates and locations are offered across Canada; customized training can also be provided onsite at your place of business.
