The Online Pre-Master Electrician Course is designed to expand the knowledge and skills of electricians and assist them - and others who are qualified to be licensed (P.Eng, CET, C-Tech)- in preparing to write the Master Electrician Examination. Aimed at the self-directed learner, the online program takes approximately 36 hours to complete and the flexible independent study format allows learners to study at their own pace any time over a 90-day period. The course is divided into 12 Modules and references specific sections of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and other pertinent legislation, electrical calculations, and trade & business practices.
The Master Electrician Examination is administered by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), and the Online Pre-Master Electrician Course is a tool to help candidates prepare.
