Cancellation requests received more than 14 calendar days before start date of the event will receive a full refund less a $100 administration fee. Cancellation requests received within the 14 calendar days prior to the event start date will be non-refundable.

Substitution of event attendee will be permitted at any time prior to the start date. Participant substitutions are permitted at any time prior to the start of the event. Please ensure that the substitute has met any prerequisite requirements.

Payment must be received in full before the event. CSA reserves the right to cancel any event and will, in such case, fully refund all registration fees. No liability is assumed by the organizers for changes in conference dates, content, speakers or venue.

Course Overview

It is the employer’s responsibility to determine the presence of any potential hazards within the work environment. If harmful airborne chemicals/particles and infectious agents are present, an employer is required to have a Respiratory Protection Program. Development and implementation starts with a comprehensive hazard identification and assessment based on your specific organizational needs and follows with a detailed implementation plan that defines the roles and responsibilities, training requirements, respirator selection and fit testing protocols; tools that address any potential respiratory hazard.

Training on effective program implementation is critical to protecting your workforce. Using practical exercises and case studies, participants will understand and analyze key strategies that form the foundation for the development and implementation of an effective Respiratory Protection Program that is consistent with the requirements of the newly-updated Z94.4 Standard - Selection, Use; Care of Respirators.
