Course Overview (synopsis)

This learning program was jointly developed by CSA Group and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH), with the support of the Canadian Advisory Council on Plumbing (CACP). Course material is based on the National Plumbing Code (NPC), which outlines the design and installation requirements of new plumbing systems and the extension, alteration, renewal and repair of existing plumbing systems. This training is essential for anybody working in the plumbing industry – from architects, engineers & designers to builders, installers and maintenance workers. The program provides a perspective of what an inspector looks for as it relates to NPC and safety requirements.
