Designing, constructing, operating and maintaining Canadian oil & gas pipelines not only requires specific skill sets, but intimate knowledge of the requirements of CSA Z662. The sixth edition of CSA Z662 - Oil & Gas Pipeline Systems, is now a National Standard of Canada, and is referenced in all federal, provincial and territorial regulations.
From a combination of lectures, exercises and quizzes, participants will learn the interrelationship between the various elements of an oil & gas pipeline system. Detailed training will provide a solid understanding of the implementation of Integrity Management requirements with record keeping strategies, to ensure compliance with the section 10 of the Standard. Students will gain valuable insights on how their jobs interact with the roles of other team members.
CSA Group instructors for Z662 training in many cases contributed to the development of the standard itself, making them intimately familiar with both the nuances of the standard as well as their potential impact on the industry. The instructors’ ability to deliver course content and material that focuses on practical application allows students to quickly and directly apply what they’ve learned after completing their training, enhancing the return on training investment.
CSA Group training is eligible for continuing education credits.
